From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

What does Reconciliation mean to you personally?

It is an important component of my work around Radical Empathy, it is a path towards justice.

What do you think is needed for Reconciliation to succeed?

We all must individually acknowledge our own role in perpetuating discrimination and structural racism.

What is your personal pledge of action(s) to take part in that process of Reconciliation?

I take action every day to fight discrimination, and work towards Truth and Reconciliation, in my research, teaching and service.
