Target Audience: All persons who work with asbestos-containing materials and those who supervise work or manage projects involving the disturbance of asbestos -containing materials must be trained. Topics included hazardous properties of asbestos and the applicable procedures to follow.

Certification: An e-certificate is issued to participants who successfully complete the online exam. Passing grade is set at 80% or higher. Certification is valid for a period of one year.
Content: How to access the McGill Asbestos Database, General information about asbestos, Health effects caused by asbestos exposure, Asbestos legislation, McGill Asbestos Policy, Asbestos work risk levels, and Asbestos incident response protocol.
Duration: 35-minutes (excludes examination time consisting of 20 multiple choice questions)
