For Feb.17, due to the storm, McGill teaching and work must be done remotely. Classes that cannot be done remotely will be cancelled. Labs and evaluations will be rescheduled, as appropriate. Only the McLennan Library is open for study (see hours). All other libraries are closed for the day.


Pour le 17 février, en raison de la tempête, l'enseignement et le travail à McGill doivent être effectués à distance. Les cours qui ne peuvent être effectués à distance seront annulés. Les laboratoires et les évaluations seront reportés, en fonction des besoins. Seule la bibliothèque McLennan est ouverte pour l'étude (voir horaires). Toutes les autres bibliothèques sont fermées pour la journée.

Congratulations to Dr. Shannon Hutcheson for a Successful PhD Defence

Congratulations to Dr. Shannon Hutcheson for the successful defence of her PhD dissertation. The title of Dr. Hutcheson's dissertation is International Students, Equity, and Marginalization: Unpacking the Human Impact of Internationalization

Previously a research assistant on iMPACTS and a PhD candidate in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, Dr. Hutcheson has spent years researching inequities and marginalization among international students. Dr. Hutcheson has also conducted research with the Higher Education Research and Scholarship Group, housed at the University of Manchester, and Research With International Students

The iMPACTS team is thrilled to congratulate Dr. Hutcheson on this milestone, and we wish her all the best for the future.
