From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. Martin Chabot

Martin Chabot is responsible for consolidating and linking appropriate metadata using data matching, reduction and restructuring techniques in order to create the research-specific datasets. Martin is also responsible for the extraction of clinical-administrative data from partnering child protection organizations using SQL procedures and updating the current dataset with annual extractions. Martin is also involved in:  1) the production of sub datasets based on project specifications; 2) the development of data definition documents specific to each dataset and research initiatives; 3) the consolidation of multiple data sources (i.e. census data); 4) supporting researchers and graduate students on matters concerning dataset management and manipulation; and 5) discussions regarding the long-term sustainability of research initiatives.
