Udho Parsini Diwan Prize
This award was established in 1994 by Mr. G.C. Kakar, Dr. A. Kakkar and Mr. P. Kakar in memory of family members and is given for the best research paper published in the calendar year by a graduate student in the Chemistry Department

M.A. Whitehead Prize in Chemistry
Established in 2011 by colleagues, friends and former students, in honour of Professor M.A. Whitehead on the occasion of his 75th birthday. Awarded to a Ph.D. candidate in chemical physics, who has demonstrated excellence in research.
