McGill’s prize-winning researchers and scholars shine at Bravo Gala
On March 21, McGill celebrated 111 laureates at the 19th edition of Bravo, a gala event honouring researchers who won major provincial, national, and international research prizes and awards in 2023. Guests, including researchers, their families and friends, faculty, students, and members of McGill’s academic administration, gathered to celebrate their accomplishments.
Eight of the honourees were from the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences:
- Certificate of Recognition | Awarded by the 2023 Asia-Pacific Drying Conference: Hosahalli Ramaswamy, Department of Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry
- Early Career Researcher Partnership Prize | Awarded by the Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes and the Canadian Nutrition Society: Daiva Nielsen, School of Human Nutrition
- Induction into the Quebec Agricultural Hall of Fame: Charles Vincent, Department of Natural Sciences (Read more)
- Living Legend Award | Awarded by the International Union of Nutritional Sciences: Harriett Kuhnlein, School of Human Nutrition
- President’s Prize for Outstanding Emerging Researchers | Awarded by McGill University: Jennifer Ronholm, Department of Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry
