Planning to apply for your first internship for summer 2027?! The Future Interns Club is a five-week program (90 minutes per session) that supports students in preparing for and navigating the internship search process. Through interactive workshops, hands-on learning and supportive peer discussions, students will explore the following topics: (1) internship search strategies, (2) transferable career skills, (3) CVs and cover letters, (4) LinkedIn and networking, and (5) interviewing.

- Dates: Wednesdays, 12:00 –1:30 PM
- Session 1: September 30
- Session 2: October 7
- Session 3: October 21
- Session 4: October 28
- Session 5: November 4
- Location: In-person at CaPS (3600 McTavish, Suite 2200)
Eligibility
To participate in Future Interns Club, you must be:
- An active McGill student
- Able to attend 5 in-person sessions
- Actively looking for an internship or professional experience for summer 2027
No experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn!
Is Future Interns Club Right for You?

- You are ready to develop your application materials and begin applying.
- You would like support with finding opportunities, networking, CVs, cover letters, LinkedIn, and interviews.
You may benefit more form the Career Direction Club (a career discovery program launching in November) if:
- You are unsure what careers or industries interest you.
- You are still exploring how your degree connects to different career paths.
- You would like support identifying your interests, values, strengths and career options before beginning an internship search.
