Our Services
Every year, McGill University’s Career Planning Service (CaPS) partners with Canadian and international organizations to facilitate student recruitment through Information Sessions and On-Campus Recruitment. Students in their final year of study are interviewed and recruited for full-time employment; while those who are not in their final year are interviewed and recruited for internships. We can take charge of your recruitment campaign on the McGill campus by advertising your career opportunities on our website, arranging your company presentations, and collecting CVs.
Recruitment is year round, but typically September and January are the most popular months. Please remember to consider students' exam schedules and break times when making your plans. For more information on student calendars, visit Important Dates for Students.

Room Booking Procedure
Before booking an event, please contact our office. We will assist you in the coordination of your event and advise you of other events being held on campus to avoid any conflicts. We will also advertise your event to McGill students through our events calendar.
Employers can book the CaPS Design Lab for information sessions recruiting McGill students.
Design Lab
CaPS Office (3600 rue McTavish, Brown Bldg, Room 2200)
- Room Description:
- The Design Lab can accommodate up to 40 people (data projector included)
- Cost: $350 + applicable taxes
- How to Reserve: Contact careers.capsATmcgill.ca or by phone at 514-398-3304. All bookings must be made at least 2 weeks in advance, and are only available Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
- McGill Catering Service: DANA Catering
- We offer a selection of breakfast or morning options, lunch buffets as well as a complete dinner or cocktail menu. Consult the complete menu.

McGill Faculty Club and Conference Centre

- Room Description: 13 rooms available to accommodate from 4 to 250 people. You can see a list of available rooms and their capacities on their website at: McGill Faculty Club and Conference Centre Room Bookings
- Room Availability: days, evenings and weekends.

Please contact our office for room booking coordination. This is to avoid any scheduling conflicts and for free advertisement of your event to McGill students.
Parking
All McGill University parking garages as well as the Main Campus outdoor parking area are fully automated. The terminals accept cash (bills and coins), as well as Visa, MasterCard and American Express for the payment of parking.
