The Biochemistry Department will be holding a Presentation Skills Workshop for graduate students who feel like they need help in preparing or giving oral presentations, and practice in answering questions.

Who: All graduate students are welcome, especially if you are:
- Preparing to present the Junior Seminar or PhD Thesis Proposal
- Preparing to present at a conference
- Uncomfortable or inexperienced at speaking in public
- A non-native English speaker who needs practice
Format:
- Participants take turns giving short talks with PowerPoint slides, followed by questions and feedback from the audience
- Faculty members will be there not to criticize or evaluate the science, but to provide suggestions on the format and presentation of the talks
- 10 min talks on your own data with 8-10 slides, and 5-10 min questions and feedback
