From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Wenxin Yu

I am a first-year Master's student in Communication Studies, supervised by Professor Darlin Barney. My primary research interest lies in the field of Media Ecology, particularly the media role of transportation infrastructure, such as railways, in historical processes and social transformations.

I obtained my Bachelor's degree of Arts from the Journalism and Information Communication School of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
