Anna Bonesteel is a first year master's student working under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Sterne. Their research interests include insurance, risk, and catastrophe set against the waning of public goods; surveillance, visibility, and refusal; and narrative in research practice. They are Editorial Lead at the digital rights group Fight for the Future, where they write a newsletter about the internet and real life.
They hold a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design. Their writing has appeared in NBC, Reuters, and the College Hill Independent.
