Guaranteed Accommodation

We offer secured housing to all first-year undergraduate students, 22 years of age and under, who have accepted McGill's offer of admission.

Interested in living in residence for the academic year 2026 -2027?

• Winter 2027 applications are now open as of October 26, 2006. The confirmation deadline is November 30. Contact our office to indicate your interest.

• Housing Applications for the 2027-2028 academic year will open in March. Learn more about the residence application process, including details on who is eligible for guaranteed accommodation, the process of hall and room assignment, and what you need to do to confirm your room reservation.

• Confirmation Deadline: You must confirm your room reservation and pay the residence deposit along with a residence application fee (non-refundable) sometime in June 2027. A date will be confirmed Spring 2027.

• Cancellation Penalties: Please note that when you accept your offer to live in residences, you are making a commitment for a lease under Quebec law for the full academic year.
