Professional Canadian Social Work Organizations

The social work profession is provincially legislated and regulated. Each province has its own organizational and regulatory body. These organizations elect one member to the board of the Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW). The regulation of these organizations is under the governance of the Canadian Council of Social Work Regulators (CCSWR). The CASW is a member of the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW).
