Academic Advising

Confidentiality and Absence of Conflict of Interest

We provide a confidential environment where learners can discuss concerns freely. No member of the Office of Medical Learner Affairs team has an evaluative role.

Academic support

The Office of Medical Learner Affairs assists UGME learners with the stress related to being in academic difficulty.

Academic Advising Flowchart

For any other learning needs please consult the flowchart below. If after using the flowchart, your issues are not resolved, then please contact the responsible person for your campus:

  • Montreal Campus: nathalie.saad [at] (Dr. Nathalie Saad), Assistant Dean, Student Affairs
  • Campus Outaouais: andre.bilodeau [at] (Dr. André Bilodeau), Director of Student and Resident Professional Affairs.

You should contact Student Accessibility & Achievement (SAA) for more information to develop an ex-IAP (accommodation plan).
