Resident Well-Being Ambassadors Program

  1. Program description

Resident Well-Being Ambassadors (RWAs) are advocates for well-being within their residency program/site. They do so by:

  1. encouraging dialogue around well-being in residency;
  2. implementing well-being initiatives that serve the unique needs of their program;
  3. sharing communications from the Office of Medical Learner Affairs with their peers;
  4. serving as front line well-being contacts for peers;
  5. collaborating with the Office of Medical Learner Affairs on well-being and learning environment assessments and interventions.

The RWA role does not involve counselling or advising others. RWAs are guided by the Office of Medical Learner Affairs on how to comfortably discuss well-being-related concerns with peers and refer to resources as appropriate. To meet your McGill Resident Well-Being Ambassadors, please click HERE.
