Native of Cap-Haitien, a city which is in northern Haiti, I grew up and studied in the city of Montreal. After completing my bachelor's degree in psychology at the Université de Montréal in 2015, I pursued my studies at the same university in the Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology - Research and Intervention.

My thesis project is focusing on prenatal maternal stress and its influence on the development of children who have been exposed to such stress. More specifically, we measure the role of parental guidance in the development of children who have experienced different levels of prenatal maternal stress (levels of objective hardship and subjective distress). Our goal is to identify factors that can increase the resilience of vulnerable children. Having been under the supervision of Dr. Suzanne King since 2015, it is a great pleasure for me to be able to work and grow in the King Lab.
