Professor Carabali is an assistant professor in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill. Dr. Carabali holds a medical degree from the Universidad Libre in Colombia and a Ph.D. in epidemiology from McGill and completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Toronto. She joined McGill from the École de Santé Publique at Université de Montréal, where she was an assistant professor. She is a social and infectious diseases epidemiologist, and her current research focuses on assessing the effect of underreporting and misclassification of the outcome and socioeconomic exposures in infectious diseases; and the expansion of statistical methods for the study and understanding of intersectionality
