Gabrielle Vasey is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Concordia University. She is an applied microeconomist working at the intersection of development, labour, and education economics. Her research combines causal inference and structural modeling to study how policies and constraints such as conditional cash transfers, information shocks, and peer effects shape decisions and outcomes for students, parents, and teachers in Mexico and Pakistan. She uses administrative and survey data alongside simulation-based counterfactuals to inform education policy design.
