Dr. Georgios Dimitropoulos is a board-certified plastic surgeon accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, the Swiss Medical Board (FMH), and the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS). Born and raised in Greece, he earned his medical degree from the Medical School of the University of Athens, Greece. After completing his plastic surgery residency at the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV) in Switzerland, he pursued a two-year fellowship in microsurgery and breast reconstruction at the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM).
Dr. Dimitropoulos maintains a comprehensive plastic surgery practice, with expertise in breast reconstruction, body contouring surgery, hand and wrist surgery, skin cancer surgery, as well as aesthetic surgery of the face and body. As a member of the Residency Program Committee and the Competency Committee, he is actively involved in resident education.
