FONDS DE LA RECHERCHE EN SANTE DU QUEBEC

The Fonds de la recherche en sante du Quebec) is a fund mandated by the Quebec government to support the development of scientific and technological research into the health of individuals and populations and to contribute to Quebec's economic growth. The FRSQ Training Award Program is designed for university students pursuing health research training in a Master's or Doctoral university program. All health themes are eligible, regardless of proposed methodology or models.

CANADIAN INSTITUTES FOR HEALTH RESEARCH

The CIHR Doctoral Research Awards and Canada Graduate Scholarships Programs are intended to provide special recognition and support to students who are pursuing a PhD degree in a health-related field in Canada or abroad. These candidates are expected to have an exceptionally high potential for future research achievement and productivity. The Canada Graduate Scholarships Master's Awards administered by CIHR are intended to provide special recognition and support to students who are pursuing a Master's degree in a health related field in Canada. These candidates are expected to have an exceptionally high potential for future research achievement and productivity.

NATURAL SCIENCES AND ENGINEERING RESEARCH COUNCIL OF CANADA

The NSERC PostGraduate Scholarships Program provides financial support to high-calibre students who are engaged in Master's or Doctoral programs in the natural sciences or engineering. This support allows these students to fully concentrate on their studies and to seek out the best research mentors in their chosen fields.

CANADIAN PAIN SOCIETY

The Canadian Pain Society offers Trainee Research Interchange Program Awards in Basic and Clinical Sciences. The award includes a $1,000 Research Grant and a Travel Award to attend the CPS Annual Meeting. The Award is presented at the Canadian Pain Society conference annual dinner.
