Global and Indigenous Health Nursing (GAIHN) - McGill is the body overseeing equity and social justice, including global and Indigenous health at the Ingram School of Nursing (ISoN).
While GAIHN-McGill recognizes that there are various definitions and understandings of global health, it has adopted the Lancet definition and further emphasizes that global health includes local health improvement through a social justice lens - recognizing and working to reduce health inequities. GAIHN has been involved in many activities over the year to promote Social Justice.
