Nancy Feeley: Jewish General Hospital
Dr. Nancy Feeley has an appointment as a Senior Nurse Scientist at the Centre for Nursing Research and Project Director, Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research, of the Jewish General Hospital. She was appointed to the inaugural class of Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Nursing, Canadian Nurses Association (CNA). She held three consecutive Research Scholar Career Awards from the Fonds de la recherche en santé Québec (FRSQ) to support her program of research focused on parents and parenting in the NICU context. Dr Feeley collaborates internationally with other researchers in NICU care including the SCENE group (closeness and separation for parents and their infants), and FINESSE (fathers).
For 10 years Dr. Feeley was the Co-Director of RRIISIQ (Reseau de recherche en interventions en sciences infirmières du Québec/Quebec Nursing Intervention Research Network). This FRSQ-funded research network is the first Canadian interuniversity group involved exclusively in the development and evaluation of nursing interventions and the measurement of their clinical impact. She has an interest in pilot RCTs and approaches to the development of complex interventions.
