Nadia Doiron completed a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Anthropology at Concordia University before obtaining her undergraduate degree in Nursing at the University of New Brunswick. After working as a Registered Nurse in Montreal, she then went on to obtain her Master of Science (Applied) in Nursing along with her Graduate Diploma, Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at McGill in December 2012. As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (PCNP), she has worked for over 10 years at the CIUSSS Centre-Ouest de l’Ile de Montréal. She developed an expertise in the care of refugees and asylum seekers while working at the Clinique des demandeurs d’asile et réfugiés. She is now involved in the GAMF clinic offering temporary services to patients without access to a primary care provider. Prior to taking on a part-time position as a Clinical Educator in the PCNP program at the ISoN in September 2022, she provided clinical supervision to PCNP students since June 2016.
