Communicating to the public through the media is one of the most effective ways for researchers to share their discoveries and generate support for McGill’s academic mission.
As a first step, add your name to McGill’s Experts Guide for media. This helps journalists easily find and reach you when they need your expertise for a story.
Already engaging with the media and the public? McGill University celebrates faculty members and registered students that do so through the Principal's Prize for Public Engagement through Media. The prize is given out annually, with a $5,000 award to the winners in four categories.
