Master of Public Policy

Policy Lab

Starting in January and running until the end of the program, the Policy Lab gives students a unique opportunity to work closely with a private, public or non-profit organization to solve a real-world policy issue, while building connections and gaining invaluable experience. Students work in small groups supported by academic and practitioner coaches.

The Policy Lab brings together all the key elements of the program, including the theory of policy, performing thorough analyses with imperfect data, trade-offs between different stakeholders, communication challenges and more. Evaluation is based on the output of group work—the policy briefing and associated written materials.
