MIME 260 Materials Science and Engineering

Instructor: Mark Amegadzie

TA – Demoing/Marking: 1 at 61 hrs each

Duties: Preparation of labs. Laboratory demonstrations and marking reports.

Requirements: Requires public speaking ability. Open to Materials Engineering graduate students only with strong experimental skills in the testing and characterization of materials and excellent knowledge of materials properties. Must have previously taken this course or its equivalent and must preferably have previously been a teaching assistant for this course. Past TA duties must include demoing and marking. (characterization). List your experience in your application.

 

MIME 261 Structure of Materials

Instructor: Mark Amegadzie

TA – Demoing/Marking: 1 at 95 hrs each

MIME 360 Phase Transformation Solids

Instructor: Stephen Yue

TA - Demoing/Tutoring/Other: 1 at 46 hrs

Duties: Demonstrating, and supervising students on furnace operation and hardness testing. Knowledge of basic metallurgy and heat treatments is a plus. Open to Materials Engineering graduate students only.

Requirements: Experimental skills on metallography, testing and characterization of materials.
