Emerging Leaders Program
Build your leadership skills. Make an impact.
The Emerging Leaders Program is a series of five 90-minute workshops—offered both in-person and online—that help McGill students grow as leaders on campus and in the community. Each session is led by trained student facilitators from the Emerging Leaders Team.
🧭 Workshop Topics
To complete the program and earn recognition on your Co-Curricular Record (CCR), attend all five workshops:
- Finding Your Way – Discover your leadership style and strengths
- Leading with Impact – Explore citizenship and cultural awareness
- Lead Out Loud – Build communication and listening skills
- Fuel the Fire – Connect with your motivation and purpose
- From Tension to Transformation – Learn to navigate conflict
📅 When & Where
- Offered twice a year: September–October & January–February
- Formats: Online via Zoom or in-person at the Brown Student Services Building (3600 Rue McTavish)
- Fall 2025 schedule & registration: Available by August 15
✅ How It Works
- Register for any workshop and you’ll be automatically enrolled in the Emerging Leaders Path in the new Student Experience Record that will be launched in Fall 2025.
- Track your progress info will be coming soon.
- Soon, progress tracking will also be available in myFuture.
