Description: [en anglais seulement] Within the asylum procedure, in connection with gender-related persecutions, cultural misunderstandings are common and are closely linked to the dictatorship of credibility, with a dangerous consequence: the shift from the assessment of the risk of persecution to the assessment of the credibility of statements. The presentation reflects these initial intuitions and observations. It also presents research already undertaken to think about improving the refugee status determination process, where removal risk has a highly cultural connotation and complex ramifications, and preliminary findings.
