Employers

Employers interested in recruiting our talented students and graduates should contact the career.education [at] mcgill.ca (Education Career Advisor) or the main CaPS office. We can provide employers with a variety of services to help them find the best students for their employment needs. Our recruitment services are provided to employers free of charge and are offered year round. We also organize various on-campus recruitment events.

In addition, McGill's Career Planning Service (CaPS) is proud to introduce our on-line Integrated Career Services System, myFuture. This cutting-edge and intuitive web application allows us to serve you efficiently and effectively. As always, there will be no charge to post jobs or internships with us. Prior to registering, please consult our Employer Recruitment Policy.

JOB POSTINGS

Whether you have a part-time or full-time position to fill, Education Career Services can help you to promote them to Education students. Do not hesitate to send us a job description listing the requirements and the instructions on how to apply.  We will promote the job postings on various channels:

- Career Update (weekly career newsletter)

- ISA office Facebook page

- Bulletin boards in the Education building

- Targeted email to a specific program (if relevant)

Please note that you can also post for free on MyFuture, McGill online job database.

INFORMATION SESSIONS

Hosting an information session gives you the opportunity to meet and interact with interested and qualified candidates. You have the possibility to tell more about your organization, the recruitment process, and any positions available. Whether you choose to offer an informal networking session or a more structured presentation, students should get the chance to learn more about your organization and ask their questions. We can assist you in the planning of the event by setting a date that works well with our students' schedules, booking a room, and promoting the event through our various channels.

Please contact Education Career Services for more information regarding costs and logistics related to information sessions.

INTERVIEWS

Do you have open positions and would like to conduct interviews on-campus to make it easier for students to meet with you? Interview rooms are available at the Faculty and Education Career Services can assist you with booking a room and scheduling the interviews with the students.

WORKSHOPS

Another way to get in touch with students is by offering a workshop on an education-related topic. If you have an expertise you would like to share with students, please feel free to contact Education Career Services to discuss the possibility of facilitating a workshop.
