Introduction to Programming in Python

Overview: This workshop will give an overview of the logical foundations of programming in Python.
At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
> Understand the different types of variables in Python (data types and data structures)
> Write simple scripts
> Use control flow to automate your scripts
> Understand how to load and use libraries
Prerequisites:
· No prior programming knowledge is required.
· Install Anaconda on your computer. You can find installation instructions here. Please contact us (cdsi.science [at] mcgill.ca) if you are having trouble with installation.
