Update on negotiations with MUNACA

On September 10, 2020, the University met with MUNACA union representatives to begin negotiating the first collective agreement of their new bargaining unit accredited by the Tribunal Administratif du Travail on August 2, 2019. The parties agreed to meet on a weekly basis in order to ensure the progression of the negotiation. As per standard practice, a negotiating protocol outlining the framework for the negotiation meetings and their conduct was agreed on by the parties during that session.

On October 1, 2020, the parties exchanged their proposals on non-monetary items, and preliminary discussions took place during which each party presented and explained their respective proposals. The parties will continue their discussions on non-monetary items at the next session.
