From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. AMPFA files a petition for certification

On Friday, April 5, 2024, Quebec's Tribunal administratif du travail -- the government body that oversees unionization -- notified McGill that the Association of McGill Professors of the Faculty of Arts (AMPFA) has filed a petition for certification.

The University will adhere to all applicable laws throughout this process, and in keeping with the Labour Code we have posted the attached document (on the right-hand side of this page), containing the petitions filed and associated hearing notices. We will communicate further as we learn more.
