About the Strategy

The McGill Accessibility Strategy (MAS) serves as a roadmap for identifying and addressing systemic ableism and for strengthening the full inclusion of disabled students, staff, and faculty across the university.

Presented to Senate in April 2025, the Strategy marks the beginning of a five-year institutional commitment to sustained and measurable progress. It includes clear metrics and accountability structures to guide implementation and ensure alignment with McGill’s ongoing efforts toward inclusive excellence.

As we move into implementation, a key marker of success will continue to be the meaningful participation of disabled communities, including disabled scholars, students, and staff, as central partners in advancing this work.
