Initiatives

Discover programming designed to help our community understand and address systemic inequities, and to create spaces to reflect on what we can do to enact change on and off campus.

Equity programs at McGill address the different needs of communities on campus, so that we may bring these into greater conversations around equity. This approach aims to build bridges in order to bring more voices together, so that particular experiences and stories can help facilitate understanding and respect in our collective learning and working environments.

McGill University is on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous peoples whose presence marks this territory on which peoples of the world now gather.
