TechIdea Pitch Competition: Submission Deadline

This competition encourages McGill students, working in teams, to propose new technologically-based ideas/solutions that solve real world problems. This year's pitch competition is taking place on March 23rd, 2023 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM during the John D. Thompson Entrepreneurial Development Seminar! Up to 5 teams will be selected to compete, each team will have 3 minutes to present their TechIdea pitch to a panel of judges from the business and entrepreneurial community. Judges will have 2 minutes to ask questions and give feedback.
Cash prizes available! $500, $250, $100 and a bonus $50 audience favorite
How It Works
- Students submit their TechIdea before the deadline on February 12th 2023, 11:59PM (ET)
- Top 5 ideas are selected by February 25th 2023 and coaching is provided to help them develop their pitch
- Finalists pitch their idea during the 10th Annual John D. Thompson Entrepreneurial Development Seminar on March 23rd, 2023
- Top 3 pitches win cash prizes of $500, $250 and $100 plus a bonus $50 prize for audience favorite
