What was the Co-Curricular Record (CCR)?
McGill’s Co-Curricular Record (CCR) was a document that recognized a student's involvement in learning opportunities outside the classroom. The CCR was in operation from 2012 to 2025 and was replaced by the Student Experience Record (SER), which launched in myFuture in November 2025.
Students who had a CCR and were active in Fall 2025 can view their legacy CCR participation on their SER, even if those activities do not meet the current SER eligibility requirements. Alumni can request an official CCR to be sent to a potential employer or educational institution.
For Current Students
You can now view your historical CCR entries on your Student Experience Record (SER) in myFuture.
For Alumni
The CCR is no longer accessible online. Alumni who need their official CCR for applications can request it from the Career Planning Service (see below).
Please allow at least 2 weeks for processing. Note: No new activities can be added.
For Staff
CCR submissions are closed. To recognize student experiences going forward, please refer to the SER eligibility guidelines.
Request an archived CCR
To request an archived, official CCR, fill out the Official CCR Request Form.
McGill CaPS provides an official document validating a former student’s achievement and involvement through McGill’s defined co-curricular programming. An official CCR is generally used when alumni are applying to graduate/professional programs, internships, grants or employment.
An official CCR must be requested by alumni by the form. It can only be sent by the Career Planning Service from experiencerecord [at] mcgill.ca (experiencerecord[at]mcgill[dot]ca) to the authoritative agencies indicated on the student’s application.
Please read these points before completing the form:
- We do not offer a French version of the CCR.
- You must allow at least 2 weeks for the official CCR to be sent to the indicated recipient(s) after your form is processed and approved. Please be advised that it may take longer for us to process the form during peak times in the term (i.e., start and end of the term).
- We are not responsible for invalid email addresses or sending the official CCR before the deadlines. Please note that we only send the official CCR to email addresses from authorized recipients/agencies.
How to ask for an activity verifier
CaPS staff can act as verifiers for activities that were recorded on students' CCRs. For more information and instructions, see Request Experience Verification.
