From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

2019 Euripides' Cyclops

Cyclops, and satyrs, and wine, oh my! Translated and directed by McGill's very own Neha Rahman and Daniel Whittle, this year the classics play takes on Euripides' Cyclops.

We are pleased to announce that this year's Classics Play public lecture will be given by Prof. Edith Hall (King's College London), February 8th, 3:30-5 pm at McGill University, Bronfman 210: "Was Cyclops a typical satyr play?" Free event, open to all.

The McGill Classics Play is a non-profit venture committed to giving Montreal university students a unique educational experience, while fostering cultural exchanges with our Montreal community around ancient texts. We offer free shows and free performance and translation workshops open to the community, and we bring in guest speakers for public lectures on Classical drama and performance.
