This workshop introduces fundamental concepts in network analysis. You will learn how to use igraph package to work with and visualize network data in R.
At the end of this workshop, you will be able to
> Identify relationships between vertices in networks
> Characterize structures of networks
> Plot networks
Pre-requisites? Basic knowledge of R. Basic knowledge of network analysis is an advantage, but some basic concepts in network analysis will be introduced by the instructor.
Software requirements: Please install R packages igraph and threejs.
Date: Thursday April 21th, 2022.
Time: 1PM to 3PM.
Location: Burnside Hall room BH511, inside the Geographic Information Center.
