Rosa Maria Oscanoa received her BSc degree in Biology and a MSc in Biomedical Informatics in Global Health from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. She then moved to Germany to pursue a MSc degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). During her studies, she also worked as a student research assistant at the Center for International Health LMU. After graduating, she worked as Research Scientist at the Gene Center LMU analysing high-dimensional datasets in metastatic breast cancer. In 2024, Rosa Maria moved to Canada to pursue her PhD studies in Epidemiology at McGill University, where she is eager to deepen her expertise in cancer epidemiology and health decision modeling.
