Danielle completed her Bachelor's degree in Integrated Sciences at the University of British Columbia, specializing in immunology and cellular physiology with a minor in English literature. Her experience working at the Provincial Health Services Authority led to her contributions to hand hygiene quality improvement projects at hospitals in BC, as well as her strong interest in infection prevention. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Epidemiology where she is interested in exploring the intersection between infectious disease and cancer epidemiology. Her thesis project will focus on epigenetic markers of HPV persistence.
