Night Route Maps:

  • Want to find the best route through downtown and Mac campus at night? Consult the Night Route Map—suggested routes from each building are highlighted, as well as the location of emergency phones.

Emergency Call Procedure:

  • Consult our Emergency Call Procedure poster to know who to contact in the event of an emergency and who you can call in the event of minor incidents.

Emergency telephones:

  • Find out the location of our Emergency Telephones on our Downtown and Macdonald Campuses. The yellow box phones have a blue light that is lit at night so you can see it easily.
  • Press the red button. You will be connected with Security Services. These phones can be found inside the entrance of most major McGill buildings and inside elevators.

Annual Safety Reports

  • Each year, a report is presented to McGill's Board of Governors on the progress of the various Safety Units Activities at McGill. These reports highlight safety statistics, annual noteworthy events and departmental goals & objectives.
