Peer-Assisted Learning

Peer-Assisted Learning  

This is a course-specific study group program, designed to engage you in collaborative learning.  You’ll use learning strategies to optimize how you study and review course concepts.  

Each group is led by a Peer Leader who has successfully completed the course with an A- or higher and has an overall CGPA of at least 3.2.   

Participants will: 

  • Practice learning and study strategies 
  • Engage in self-reflective learning 
  • Engage in meaningful discussion and review of subject matter, facilitated by a Peer Leader 

 

Peer-Assisted Learning is available for the following courses for the Winter 2025 semester:  

 

MacDonald Campus:

  • AEMA 102 (Calculus 2)
  • AEPH 114 (Introductory Physics 2)

 

Downtown Campus:

  • MATH 141(Calculus 2)
  • ECON 208 (Microeconomic Analysis and Applications)
  • PHGY 210 (Mammalian Physiology 2)
  • PHYS 102 (Introductory Physics - Electromagnetism)
