  • By car: The airport is located approximately 20 minutes outside of the city centre by car. Taxis and ride-share services (Uber, Lyft, etc.) are readily accessible at the airport.

Montréal Through the Arts

History Is Painted by the Victors: An Exhibition of Kent Monkman

The Montréal Musée des beaux arts (MMBA) is currently featuring a topical exhibit by acclaimed painter and member of ocêkwi sîpiy (Fisher River Cree Nation) Kent Monkman. Monkman's work reinterprets classic symbols in settler Canadian art, to deliver compelling reflections on our colonial past and present. Steps away from the McGill Faculty of law, this exhibit offers a unique venue for further exploration of the conference's theme.
