Overview
You can pursue a minor in Arabic, Persian, Turkish or Urdu through the Islamic Studies Institute. Whichever language you choose, you’ll receive comprehensive training in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
You can enter the minor in Arabic Language no matter what your level of experience is with the language. If you have no prior knowledge of Arabic, you’ll start with introductory courses that teach you how to understand and communicate at a basic level.
As your skills develop, you’ll be introduced to increasingly complex texts, and can start exploring culturally significant Arabic media.
