Tutorial Services provides student-centered academic supports to the McGill community. These include a suite of Learning Supports, including webinars focused on study skills development and the Tutor Matching Program. The Tutor Matching Program is a peer tutoring service that matches requests for academic assistance (for any course offered in McGill) with qualified tutors selected from our bank of private tutors. Tutorial Services also hosts a wide range of useful learning materials that promote effective academic habits.

The university is promoting social distancing and implementing measures to have fewer individuals on, or commuting to, our campuses, while maintaining necessary functions and activities. During this time, in order to continue to support students that need help, all tutoring should be done online. We advise you not to have face-to-face meetings to prevent the spread of the virus.

Learn from your fellow students; In Fall 2020, McGill students were surveyed on tips and strategies for how they learn best. Check out what they said and try one for yourself!
