11:00 Discussion 2: Protocols/standards/platform for data/document/information exchange (Auditorium B-421)
- perhaps have a list of equipment available at each partner
- multitrack sound recording protocol
MdF will develop a recording protocol for specified quartets in terms of mics, configuration (placement, height, distance of mics), software (ProTools vs Pyramix), 96k SR, 24-bit, idea of reference recording, information about the mix, specification of the rooms, multiple levels of microphones for close, medium and far from musicians for getting room effects as well
Malte – a little recording primer for team members
- compositions: what tools are connected to which parts of recordings in mixed music or electroacoustic music pieces, metadata from composer's perspective,
- audio standards protocol
- data format protocols
- symbolic music representation standard
- video
- online fora on different topics, what platforms: two types of exchanges – one for rapid chats and another for more in-depth scientifc; mattermost is it installable locally or only on their server?
