Momar Ndao -Member

Dr. Momar Ndao’s research focuses on diagnosing infectious diseases, host-parasite interactions, drug screening, and biomarker discovery using proteomics. A key area of his work involves vaccine development, including the use of recombinant Bacillus Calmette–Guérin (BCG) technology as a vector to express heterologous antigens. This approach enables the creation of novel vaccine candidates that target a range of pathogens, enhance immune responses, and broaden protective efficacy.

The current research project of Dr. Momar Ndao is an mRNA Schistosomiasis vaccine, and elucidating the influence of Mtb on outcomes of schistosomiasis.
