Andrea Benedetti -Member

Dr. Andrea Benedetti is an Associate Professor at McGill University. She is a biostatistician with extensive experience directing analyses and interpreting results from a multitude of studies in different disease areas, using different methodologies.

Dr. Benedetti is an author on over 300 publications, including publications in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), the Lancet, JAMA, and BMJ. She is supported by a career award from the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé and holds operating funds from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research as principal investigator and co-investigator. Dr. Benedetti’s primary research interests are the statistical challenges of Meta Analysis and Individual Patient Data Meta Analysis (IPDMA). In addition to methodological work in this domain, she collaborates on major IPDMAs related to the treatment of tuberculosis and the accuracy of common depression screening tools. Dr. Benedetti is equally interested in flexible. regression methods

Dr. Benedetti is interested in the statistical challenges related to prediction, IPDMA, and smoothing in the context of TB research.
