The Division of Vascular Surgery hosted its 3rd Annual McGill Vascular Surgery Alumni and Research Day on Friday, May 9th, 2025. The day included a wide variety of talks from the vascular surgery residents and Fellow, a session on interesting and challenging clinical cases, as well as a very well-received talk from this year's invited speaker, Dr. Heather Gill. We rounded out the daytime activities with a spirited, competitive session of Vascular Surgery Jeopardy, which pitted residents, faculty, nurses, vascular lab technologists and alumni against each other. An evening Banquet at the venue, The Omni Hotel Montreal, wrapped up the event, allowing all attendees to visit and enjoy good food together.
Our Alumni in attendance this year included Drs. Nathan Sheiner, Leonard Tse, Peter Midgley, Vikram Iyer, Marie-Pierre LeGuillan, Thanh Vo and Philippe Charbonneau.
As part of a new initiative at this year’s event, we raised over $3,100 in donations from Faculty and Alumni. These funds will support McGill Vascular Surgery residents in their research, education, and innovation activities. Thank you to everyone who donated!
