EXSU605-Innovations in Biomedical Research
Our research laboratory is particularly interested in adult stem, stromal, and progenitor cells for preclinical and clinical cell therapy and/or gene therapy studies for various diseases. We are currently exploring the use of gene-enhanced mesenchymal stem/stromal cells (MSCs) for the treatment of cancers, as well as preconditioning strategies for MSCs to improve their beneficial effects.
